Purpose of the position

The position is responsible for timely support & attending PM and breakdowns at BIW Fixtures, Welding Controllers, Transformers, TCF equipment’s, EMS , Hoist Cranes, Filling Equipment’s and EOL equipment of Winger Factory .

    Functional Development

  • Attend, Supervise and manage Electrical Break down of machines & equipment at BIW & TCF line of Winger Factory.
  • Reduction in breakdown time & timely support to upkeep of machines & equipment.
  • Schedule and execution of Electrical Preventive & predictive Maintenance activities
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Maintenance of electronics, electrical drives, PC ware and networking.
  • Daily updation and monitoring of maintenance performance- SQPDCME, Breakdown time, 5’s, suggestion, improvements etc
  • Daily monitoring usage of energy in terms of Electrical Power consumption.
  • Identify new energy saving ideas and its implementation.
  • Installation, commissioning and programming of VFD and its maintenance
  • Resolve electrical maintenance issue raised in IRC & DSC meetings.
  • Provision and maintenance of lighting and fan facilities in Shop.
  • Compliance of portable equipment inspection.
  • Periodic checking of earth pits.
