Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the implementation of operational risk policies and processes, contributing to a robust operational risk management framework that ensures strong organizational resilience. The role serves as a second line of defense, providing independent and effective assurance over operational risk controls to safeguard the organization's assets, reputation, and long-term sustainability. The individual in this role should be self-driven, collaborative team player with a strong learning mindset, equipped with knowledge of life insurance processes and a passion for promoting resilience across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead identification, assessment, and oversight of operational risks and key controls across insurance value chain
- Drive RCSA execution and control testing , ensuring design and operating effectiveness across critical business processes
- Execute focused Thematic Reviews to identify emerging risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses
- Oversee Operational Risk Events & Issues , including root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, and closure assurance
- Monitor and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) risk events, and action plans, with timely escalation of material risks
- Partner with business stakeholders to strengthen process governance and control ownership
- Promoting Risk culture to enhance self-disclosures on incidents and deeper integration with Risk Vanguards across Organization
