In this role, you will:
  • Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

    • Strategy:

  • Lead the annual fiscal strategic planning process; conducts analysis required to inform strategy, considering the ‘big picture’ and alignment to Scotiabank strategy and vision

  • Responsible for communicating the department strategy to employees to enhance engagement and awareness and ensure alignment with Retail Credit Risk, and Scotiabank’s strategic framework, purpose and values

  • Support operating budget and resource management for Retail Credit Risk, including monthly reporting against financial plan

  • Leads and/or supports initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, address risk culture concerns, address concerns highlighted in pulse results, and address any concerns raised in department huddle...
