Role Overview
Own and scale Telecom Services revenue across Network Equipment Manufacturers, Telecom Operators, Hyperscalers, and Data Center providers , with a primary focus on engineering services, managed services, and digital network transformation programs . This role is accountable for building strategic accounts, driving large deal pursuits, and expanding long-term annuity revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Telecom Services sales across NEMs, Operators, Hyperscalers, and Data Center providers.
- Drive new revenue through Engineering Services, Network Transformation, Managed Services, Professional Services, and Build-Operate-Transfer models .
- Build and manage a qualified services-centric pipeline , with strong ownership of forecasting, deal velocity, and revenue closure.
- Engage senior stakeholders including CTOs, Network Heads, Engineering VPs, Operations Leaders, and Procurement Heads .
- Position value-led telecom services around:
- Network Engineering and Product Engineering
- 5G, Private Networks, Open RAN, Core and Transport Networks
- Data Center Engineering, Network Operations, and Cloud Connectivity
- NOC, Managed Network Services, and L2/L3 Operations
- Lead large, multi-tower deals including offshore, nearshore, and global delivery models .
- Develop strategic account plans aligned to customer network modernization, cost optimization, and scalability initiatives .
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, Delivery, and Commercial teams to craft differentiated service proposals.
- Identify whitespace opportunities for account mining, renewals, expansions, and long-term managed services contracts .
- Maintain strong understanding of telecom services buying patterns, vendor ecosystems, and operator transformation roadmaps .
- Ensure disciplined execution from prospecting through contract closure , including commercials, pricing, and governance.
Required Candidate Profile
- 8–12 years of experience in Telecom Services Sales , Engineering Services, or Managed Services.
- Strong exposure to selling into NEMs, Telecom Operators, Hyperscalers, or Data Center companies .
- Proven success in consultative, services-led selling with ownership of multi-million-dollar deals.
- Hands-on experience selling engineering services, managed services, or long-term transformation programs .
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level and VP-level stakeholders .
- Deep understanding of telecom services economics, delivery models, and commercial constructs .
- Ability to manage complex, long-cycle deals with multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in US time zones / India night shift .
- Strong operational rigor with forecasting, CRM hygiene, and governance.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and proposal authoring.
