Job Title: Instrumentation and Control Engineer


Job Description:

The Instrumentation and Control Engineer plays a critical role in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems onboard the FPSO. They are responsible for providing specialized technical support to ensure reliable performance of safety-critical and process control systems.


This includes reviewing, evaluating, and updating maintenance strategies for critical instruments and control equipment as well as coordinating with vendors for repairs, calibrations, or upgrades.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for preventive maintenance of instrumentation including transmitters, valves
    & analyzers
  • Troubleshoot issues in PLC-based applications
    (Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) &
    Fire & Gas System)
  • Cross-train offshore operations team on best practices with regard to instrument calibration,
    sensing data interpretation,
