Job Description
- Plan and control material requirements in line with production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory targets.
- Manage material planning parameters and reporting through ERP/MRP systems (preferably IFS).
- Monitor stock levels, lead times, minimum order quantities, and supplier deliveries to ensure material availability.
- Work in close coordination with purchasing, production, sales, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth material flow.
- Analyze planning data, prepare regular reports, and support decision-making with accurate insights.
- Apply lean principles such as JIT and Kanban to improve material planning efficiency.
- Identify potential supply risks in advance and take preventive actions.
