Senior Mechanical Design Engineer


CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of Scientific Instruments, on a permanent basis.

This is an office based position, located in High Wycombe.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of complex electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems for analytical instrumentation.

About the role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop mechanical concepts for precision analytical instrumentation.
  • Define mechanical architectures to meet performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with systems, optics, electronics, and firmware engineers.
  • Produce detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks or equivalent, including 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawing.
