Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Brief

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop comprehensive mechanical designs, from concept to detailed design, including shop drawings and composite drawings.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of design experience, with site-related experience being a valuable addition. Additionally, the engineer will assist in procurement by providing technical support in material selection, specifications, and coordination with suppliers.





Required Education:



-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.





Required Experience & Certificates:



-Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design.

-Expertise in designing Smoke Management, Fire Fighting, HVAC, and Plumbing systems.

-Strong experience in shop drawings and composite drawings.

-Experience in procurement is highly desirable.





Required Skills:



-Good communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

-Arabic, English, and French language proficiency is a must.





Tasks and Duties:



-Develop mechanical designs from concept to detailed design, including shop and composite drawings.

-Prepare calculation notes and design reports to support project requirements.

-Assist in procurement, including negotiating with suppliers and evaluating technical offers received.

-Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

-Coordinate effectively with other engineers and team members to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
