We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Design Engineer to join one our most recognised and well respected global clients in the Heavy Engineering Mining & special purpose machinery industry.

Role:

This role will be acting as a Senior Mechanical Engineer working on Design focused projects taking projects from meetings with the client through to detailed engineering and delivery.

As a senior engineer you will also be responsible for mentoring and coaching junior designers and engineers coupled with the responsibility of signing off on finished works.

Person:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background within a heavy engineering environment and will ideally possess the following skills:

*3D Design Skills - Inventor / Solid Works
*Heavy Engineering / Materials Handling / Special Purpose Machinery Design
*Understanding of Structural Analysis
*Mobile Plant Exposure
*Hydraulics, Pneumatics Experience

Remuneration:

Salary is commensurate with skills and experience, however candidates should expect to receive a salary in the region of $115,000 - $125,000 + Super (Negotiable)
