Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer/Manager based in Pune, Maharashtra. The Mechanical Design Engineer/Manager will oversee and manage the design process for various projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Responsibilities include leading a team of designers, collaborating with other departments, ensuring timely project completion, and providing creative input to meet organizational objectives. The Design Engineer/Manager will also evaluate project requirements, develop design strategies, and monitor progress against goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software, Solid Edge, Solid Works, Auto Cad, design tools, and technical design methodologies
- Strong project management, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Expertise in product development, prototyping, and production processes
- Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical, or related industries is an advantage
