Senior Mechanical Engineer

Description Markon is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support one of our Intelligence Community customers. Responsibilities Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight of operations and maintenance, repair, and construction work Oversee and coordinate activities with the trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment Oversee and coordinate work orders, service orders, and project Develop cost estimates, documents, and reports Coordinate energy program and analyzing utility costs Provide after hours engineering services in the event of an emergency Manage project design and/or construction efforts, to include schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight Manage and evaluate construction contractor performance Integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel Evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests Provide official weekly project status reports Prepare and distribute project commu...
