Mechanical Engineer (Various Experience Level) - Staff - Hybrid Working - Ayrshire. Our leading engineering consultancy client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer on a staff basis. You will be responsible for leading the design and validation of the Mechanical & Piping Systems of all projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the layout of overall plant facilities, including placing equipment and process units - Coordination with Mechanical Designers and key Stakeholders.
• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with functional performance requirements, safety regulations, Insurance requirements and ergonomic standards.
• Translate project specifications into detailed mechanical designs, including calculations, material selection, and component integration for optimal reliability and efficiency.
