Specific responsibilities include:

  • Perform controller tuning, performance characterization, and troubleshooting for a nanometer-level precision motion stage.
  • Define requirements for stage testing and drive the development of data processing tools in Python.
  • Characterize dynamic performance at the inspection station level. Use a combination of testing and analysis to understand observed behavior. Define and drive the implementation of improvements if needed.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to bring prototype systems online and participate in the testing of complex calibrations and algorithms.
  • Follow the initial systems through Alpha test, delivery and Beta test at one or more customer sites.
