Overview

The Software area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet firm obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Must have strong Java platform and computer science fundamentals
  • Strong technical mobile software background with good analytical, problem solving, and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.​

  • Design and document software components that meet organization and industry standards.

    Code high quality software components in accordance with organizational standards, technical requirements, and detailed designs
  • Must have strong fundamentals on OLTP style applications and related concepts
  • Must have strong fundamentals and proficiency in core technologies we use for web development - Java 8, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Spring and Hibernate
  • Be able to work in an independent manner as part of an Agile scrum team
  • Be able to research technical solutions and recommend options with appropriate reasoning
  • Experience in any relational database (Oracle, Mysql, etc.) is a significant plus

    • Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines is a must.
  • Must have a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 - 7 Years of experience
