Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Senior MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Site Engineer located on-site in Bengaluru South. The Senior MEP Site Engineer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems on construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include supervising MEP installations, ensuring compliance with project drawings and specifications, coordinating with project stakeholders, monitoring project timelines, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role involves site inspections, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues as they arise, as well as preparing progress reports and documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MEP design, installation, and coordination
- Strong understanding of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of MEP-related codes, standards, and regulations
- Experience with project management and on-site supervision
- Expertise in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality assurance in construction projects
- Proficient communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Proficiency with relevant software such as Auto CAD, Revit MEP, or other design and project management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field)
- At least 5 years of experience in MEP engineering and construction projects
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South and adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Professional certifications or licenses (e.g., LEED, PMP) are advantageous
