Senior Middleware Administrator

We are looking for a Middleware Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the deployment, management, and optimization of our application ecosystem. You will ensure system stability, lead architectural design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and scale middleware services.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Design: Lead middleware solution design, ensuring scalability and alignment with infrastructure/security standards.
• Operations & Support: Provide L2/L3 technical support for installation, configuration, capacity planning, and complex troubleshooting (performance bottlenecks, connectivity, debugging).
• Automation: Implement scripts for deployment and monitoring using tools like Ansible or Puppet .
• Maintenance: Manage patches, upgrades, and security configurations; document infrastructure and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaboration: Coordinate with DevOps, developers, and vendors to resolve design issues and integrate new applications.

Technical Skills

Core Requirements (Must-Have)

• Middleware Platforms: Expertise in Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, Nginx, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, or IIS.
• IBM MQ & vSphere (mandatory)
• Operating Systems: Proficient in Unix/Linux and Windows.
• Scripting: Strong Shell and Perl scripting skills.
• Networking: Solid understanding of core networking concepts.

Preferred Advantages

• Message Brokers: Apache Kafka or ActiveMQ.
• DevOps/CI-CD: Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Directory Services: Open LDAP or IBM LDAP.
• Caching & Deployment: Redis, Memcached, and Microfocus Enterprise Server.
