THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Mining Technical Services Superintendent, the Senior Mining Engineer mine designs, ore reserves and mine planning modelling for optimum extraction of ore in support of the Company’s open pit mine and production activity including:

• Open pit mine designs including waste dumps, haul roads and ROM stockpiles.
• Pit optimisation and associated cost modelling
• Mine development sequencing, planning and scheduling.
• Set up and maintenance of the daily dig, drill and blast planning, weekly and monthly mine production reporting systems.
• Review and manage conformance to plan.
• Review D&B designs and tie‑ins.
