Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Engineer to join our R&D team in developing our next-generation B2C application in terms of technology and UI/UX.

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will learn the ins and outs of the technology and are expected to constantly improve our working practices and code base.

Our ideal candidate will join our team, which develops and constantly deploys multi-platform apps for iOS and Android using Google's new Flutter development framework, which was just announced by GitHub as the "Fastest-growing language".

Responsibilities

  • Implement and own cross-platform features; be involved and impact the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and production support)
  • Collaborate with team members on technological and architectural topics
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of our technical challenges and strive to improve them
  • Follow engineering best practices (unit testing, automation, code reviews, etc.) and keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies of flutter and app design
  • Work with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand the desired application requirements and provide your feedback to improve the outcome of the feature

    • What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in iOS or Android Development
  • Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Working knowledge of the mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
  • Experience with Flutter - this is a big plus!
  • Experience with APIs and third-party libraries such as BLE, camera, sensors, health kit, etc - advantage
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, etc - advantage
  • Knowledge and experience with nutrition/metabolism/health - advantage (a desire to know more about these topics is an advantage too)
