The macOS Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise‑grade solutions for managing macOS systems using Workspace One UEM. This role packages, deploys, and troubleshoots both third‑party applications and a full suite of security products, while developing automation scripts and custom tools in Bash, zsh, Python, or Swift. The engineer leads macOS OS lifecycle testing—including beta and GM releases—conducting full‑stack validation and collaborating closely with Apple and Omnissa to resolve issues and influence product direction. The role supports internal application teams, IAM, and Tier 2 support globally, maintaining security compliance and onboarding experiences, and Workspace One Intelligence dashboards.
