Role Summary: 

  • Solution Design & Development : 
  • Design and develop data models using SAP BW on HANA , including Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSOs) , composite providers , and info objects . 
  • Build and optimize SAP Datasphere -based data solutions to serve as the central EDW for reporting and analytics. 
  • Develop SAP BO dashboards and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions, including SAC Planning for predictive insights. 
  • Data Integration & Optimization : 
  • Implement and optimize ETL processes for seamless data flow between SAP BW on HANA, SAP Datasphere, and external systems. 
  • Ensure high performance of data pipelines by leveraging HANA native SQL and advanced scripting. 
  • Reporting & Analytics : 
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI) , Lumira , Analysis for Office , and SAP SAC . 
  • Implement predictive analytics models and planning solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and Datasphere . 
  • Data Governance & Best Practices : 
  • Ensure data consistency and quality across SAP and non-SAP systems by adhering to data governance principles. 
  • Perform performance tuning for data models and reporting layers to enhance efficiency and user experience. 
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : 
  • Work closely with business and IT teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
  • Provide training and support to end users for SAP BI tools and functionalities. 

    • SkillSet / Responsibilities 

    Essential: 

    Core Must-Have Skills:  

  • SAP BW on HANA : 
  • Proficiency in data modeling using ADSOs, composite providers, info objects, and transformations. 
  • Expertise in managing HANA-optimized data flows and utilizing HANA calculation views . 
  • SAP Datasphere : 
  • Hands-on experience with data modelling, integration, and creating a central EDW using Datasphere . 
  • SAP BO & SAC : 
  • Proficiency in SAP BO tools like Lumira, WebI, and Analysis for Office . 
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , including SAC Planning. 
  • ETL & Scripting : 
  • Advanced skills in SQL , ABAP for BW , and scripting for ETL processes. 

    • Desirable: 

    Good-to-Have Skills:  

  • Experience in predictive analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud for forecasting and simulations. 
  • Familiarity with HANA native development and performance optimization for data reporting. 
  • Integration expertise with non-SAP data sources for consolidated reporting. 

    • Market Standard Expectations  

  • Certifications : 
  • SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW on HANA Certification. 
  • SAC or Datasphere certification is an added advantage. 
  • Cross-Integration Expertise : 
  • Experience in integrating external systems and tools with SAP BW on HANA and Datasphere . 
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions and multi-system landscapes. 
  • Emerging Technologies : 
  • Understanding of AI/ML capabilities in SAP Analytics Cloud. 

    • Exposure to IoT-driven data insights or similar innovations.
