Senior National Account Manager – Grocery

As part of this continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior National Account Manager to lead a high-value national customer portfolio, anchored by a top-tier grocery retailer and supported by emerging wholesale and export channels.

Reporting into the Commercial Director, this role will be responsible for setting and executing national account strategies that deliver profitable growth, strengthen retailer partnerships, and unlock new opportunities across multiple channels. Working closely with Marketing, Category, Supply Chain and Finance, you will ensure seamless execution and a best-in-class customer experience. Key areas of responsibility include:

• Developing and leading long-range national account strategies and joint business plans
• Owning end-to-end commercial performance, including forecasting and budget delivery
• Building and maintaining strong, senior-level relationships with key retail stakeholders
• Driving range reviews, distribution gains, and shelf optimisation initiatives
• Identifying growth opportunities through data, insight, and shopper behaviour analysis
• Leading commercial negotiations, trading terms, and promotional planning
• Influencing cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution in-store and online
• Tracking performance against KPIs and delivering actionable reporting
• Acting as a trusted commercial partner and brand ambassador

We’re looking for a proven Senior National Account Manager with experience managing major grocery retailers, ideally within FMCG or branded consumer goods. You will bring a strategic mindset, strong financial acumen, and a track record of delivering sustainable growth through long-term partnerships. Confident, influential, and commercially sharp, you know how to balance short-term wins with long-term value creation. Above all, you are driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating in complex, fast-moving environments.
