Overview

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator who will provide essential network administration capabilities in support of Scott AFB in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall network security. Ensures protection from viruses or other security threats, corrupt data and maintain system backups.
• Provide day-to-day administration, security, enhancement and documentation of internal network. Provides prompt IT support and assistance with a variety of day-to-day tasks to support the IT team and staff with security, enhancement and documentation of the network. This position also requires hurricane recovery and emergency outage response.
• Communicates hardware/software problems with outside support personnel, i.e.: vendors and technical support representatives.
