Senior Network Engineer

Position Summary

Purpose, Scope & Dimension of Job:
The Senior Network Engineer (SNE) is responsible for the design, implementation, security, operational reliability, and continuous improvement of the College’s mission-critical network infrastructure across campus and cloud environments. The SNE’s ensures the continual availability of the systems and services while coordinating maintenance and service windows with the College community.The SNE functions as a subject matter expert (SME) for network technologies, supports incident response efforts, and ensures high availability of core services through proactive monitoring, structured change management, and system lifecycle planning. The SNE collaborates closely with peers across ITS, internal college stakeholders, and external partners to ensure a secure, resilient, and scalable network foundation.
