Position Details

**Position Title:** Senior Officer – PPC
**Location:** Ballabgarh
**Department:** PPC
**Reports To:** PPC Manager
 

Primary Purpose of the Role

• Oversee Banbury scheduling and compound inventory management.
• Manage raw material requirements and inventory.
• Ensure timely and efficient production planning to support smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and compounds.
2. Prepare and release shift-wise Banbury schedules and raw material requirements.
3. Manage WIP levels and maintain relevant production data.
4. Prepare MIS reports and conduct Banbury reconciliations.
5. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Materials teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
6. Revise production schedules based on priority changes or breakdowns.
7. Monitor mixer utilization and minimize changeover times.

Communication & Coordination

**Internal Contacts:** Production, Engineering, Quality Tech, AP regional teams – for productivity alignment and performance reporting.
**External Contacts:** As required for operational coordination.

Education Requirements

**Required:** Diploma/BE/B.Tech – Mechanical, Production, or Electrical.
**Desired:** Additional training in compounding or tire manufacturing processes.

Experience Requirements

5–10 years of experience in the tire industry, preferably with exposure to compound planning and inventory management.

Knowledge & Skills

**Behavioral Skills:** Assertive, time management, collaboration, effective communication, ownership & accountability.
**Technical Skills:** Tyre compound specifications, compound requirement calculations, troubleshooting, operational excellence, safety & environment knowledge.
**Additional Knowledge:** Bias tire industry processes, compounding and raw materials, analytical & statistical competency, strong computer proficiency.
