What You Will Do
Lead the engineering and operations of our Oracle platforms, with deep involvement across design, automation, operations, and third‑level support. Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Exadata on‑premises and Oracle Database (19c), across production and non‑production environments. Optimize performance, analysing SQL queries, tuning parameters, and proactively improving database efficiency and reliability. Define the Oracle product vision and roadmap, influencing the long-term evolution of our platform. Establish engineering standards and guardrails, ensuring reliability, automation, and operational excellence at scale. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Security, Business) to align priorities, communicate trade‑offs, and ensure measurable impact.
