TITLE: SENIOR PAYROLL CLERK - 35 HoursDEPARTMENT: Payroll Department REPORTS TO: Payroll Manager SUMMARY:With minimal direction the Senior Payroll Clerk is responsible for the preparation of one or more of the School District's payrolls. He/she works cooperatively with other employees and the public.DUTIES:Calculates, inputs, and maintains information relating to new employees, changes in employee status, changes in hours worked, terminations, and employee accruals.Reviews Personal Information Forms (PIFs) from Human Resources before input and reconciles as required.Accurately generates pay calculations, produces payroll registers, prepares related reports, completes payroll by deadlines, and reconciles net pay accounts as required.Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of employee contracts and collective agreements.Maintains records and makes necessary adjustments for items such as sick leave, vacation, employee increments, absences, and payroll deductions and earnings, and Workers Compen...
