About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join a dynamic HR team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while delivering exceptional customer service. Acting as the second‑in‑charge to the Team Leader Payroll, you will provide specialist support and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing, including fortnightly pay runs.
  • Maintain accuracy of employee master data and salary records.
  • Oversee timesheet and leave processing for correct payments.
  • Calculate and verify termination entitlements.
  • Prepare payroll‑related reports and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, and organisational policies.
