Senior Payroll Officer

Overview

A well-established and growing organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their internal finance team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the payroll function as the business transitions from an outsourced to an in-house model.

You'll be working alongside a close-knit finance team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery across a large, national workforce.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approx. 2, casual/part-time staff and 40 salaried employees across Australia
• Manage weekly PAYG lodgements
• Complete quarterly superannuation submissions
• Prepare and lodge monthly payroll tax across WA, QLD, SA, VIC and NSW
• Handle quarterly Portable Long Service Leave (LSL) lodgements for VIC and QLD
• Administer weekly and monthly offshore payroll for teams based in the Philippines and the US
