Hays are delighted to be partnering with a family-run business, who are home to some iconic Yorkshire household brands. Hays are supporting their recruitment of a Senior Payroll Co-ordinator to join their busy Finance function.


Your new role

The Senior Payroll Coordinator will provide hands-on technical, process and administrative support to the Payroll Team and the wider business. Primarily tasked with reconciliation of payroll information, this candidate needs to have excellent Excel skills.

  • Support the Payroll Manager with reconciliation of internal accounts, HMRC returns, Pension and PMI submissions to external portals.
  • Support Payroll with any payroll system troubleshooting.
  • Performing rigorous audit checks on all keying activity and transfer of data between HR and Payroll systems (within Payroll timescales)
  • Manipulation of data via spreadsheets through advanced use of Excel
