Job Description

Job Title: Senior PCB Layout Engineer
Location: Calabasas, CA



Job Responsibilities:
  • Design intricate PCBs with 30+ layers and high-density BGAs using Cadence Allegro.
  • Develop symbols, stackups, and manage pin swaps; import netlists and constraints.
  • Review peer designs and library symbols for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to refine designs.
  • Work with suppliers to address manufacturing issues.


    • Skills Required:
  • Proficient in Cadence Allegro; knowledge of CAM 350, OrCad, or similar tools.
  • Experience with high-speed digital design up to 53GHz, including PAM4.
  • Skilled in design rule checks, layout versus schematic checks, and library management.
  • Understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT).
  • Familiar with DDR4 DRAM, serial interfaces, and impedance control.
