Senior Pipe Stress Engineer (Nuclear)

Johnson Service Group is recruiting for a, Mid-Level and Senior-Level Pipe Stress Engineer , for a 12-month contract assignment in Reston, VA. These are hybrid positions and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the Reston office (12011 Sunset Hills Road / 20190). U.S. Citizenship is required Local or Regional candidates highly preferred (per diem is not available) Mid-Level base pay rate: $75.00/hour Senior-Level base pay rate: $90.00/hour Project Overview: These positions will support the Natrium project - part of a DOE initiative to advance U.S. leadership in nuclear energy production. Natrium will play a key role in this advancement with development of a 345 MWe sodium fast reactor (SFR). Responsibilities: Includes the modeling of the piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.
