Senior Planner, Development

Overview

The Opportunity: 2 Vacancies. Reporting directly to the Manager, Development & Design, this role is responsible for the processing and project management of a wide range of development applications. You will review and provide a professional planning opinion and recommendation on major, high-profile development applications, and act as a resource for staff, Council and the public regarding planning processes and policies. You will be responsible for reviewing and managing development applications, presenting reports, managing stakeholder engagement, and representing the Town in public meetings and tribunal hearings.
