We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead and coordinate complex development assessment matters and support the delivery of outcomes aligned with Council’s Planning Scheme, legislation, and community expectations.

This role plays a key leadership function within the Planning team, providing guidance and mentoring to Graduate Planners and Para-Planners, while supporting Lead Senior Planners and Principal Planners on complex and sensitive matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Senior Planner in managing development applications, planning appeals, legal matters, infrastructure agreements, and related assessment functions.

  • Assess, process, report on and provide advice for complex development applications in accordance with legislation, Council’s Planning Scheme, policies, standards and codes.
