Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing scalable BI solutions. The role demands expertise in Power BI development , Google BigQuery integration and Tableau-to-Power BI migration . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance dashboards and ensure seamless migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Power BI Development

    Build interactive dashboards, reports and optimized data models.Implement advanced DAX and Power Query (M) transformations.Apply best practices for visualization and performance tuning.

  • Google BigQuery Integration

    Connect Power BI to BigQuery for large-scale datasets.Optimize queries for cost efficiency and speed.

  • Tableau-to-Power BI Migration

    Lead migration projects ensuring feature parity and enhanced UX.Validate reports and secure stakeholder sign-off.

  • Administration & Governance

    Manage Power BI Service: workspaces, security (RLS), compliance.Monitor usage and troubleshoot performance issues.

  • Collaboration

    Partner with business teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise

    Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Service and Gateway.Advanced knowledge of DAX , Power Query and data modeling.Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and SQL optimization.

  • Migration Experience

    Proven track record in Tableau-to-Power BI migration projects.

  • Performance Optimization

    Ability to optimize reports and queries for enterprise-scale environments.

  • Soft Skills

    Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Collaborative team player.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Power BI Embedded and DevOps for BI (CI/CD) .
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Platform and hybrid cloud setups.
