Are you a seasoned Electrical Engineer ready to lead, innovate, and shape the future of energy infrastructure? Middleton Group is growing—and were looking for a Senior Primary Engineer to help us drive technical excellence, empower our people, and deliver impactful solutions for our clients and communities.

You'll lead complex high‑voltage primary design and earthing projects, influence strategy, and leave a mark on the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Lead & Deliver

Engineering Leadership

• Lead multi‑disciplinary design projects with quality, safety, and innovation at the forefront.
• Deliver creative, industry-leading solutions across major HV substation and primary design projects.
• Ensure technical excellence through rigorous review, standards development, and engineering best practice.

Sustainability & Innovation

• Drive carbon‑conscious and community‑minded engineering design approaches.
• Contribute to advancing our technical methodologies within Middleton Group and the wider industry.

People & Capability

• Mentor, develop, and inspire junior engineers.
• Support training, capability uplift, and initiatives that keep our team ahead of the curve.
• Help shape a culture built on care, respect, and continuous improvement.

Business Growth

• Lead proposal development and help secure exciting new opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships and influence winning project strategies.

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• 10+ years high-voltage primary design and/or earthing experience.
• A track record of technical excellence, creativity, and cross‑disciplinary thinking.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• A values-driven, people-focused mindset—with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
