Milestone Aluminium Company Pvt. Ltd., a leader in facade design, manufacturing, and installation, is looking for an experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to oversee and streamline the procurement and material management processes. This is a pivotal role that ensures the availability of high-quality materials while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the material needs of production, supply chain, and project teams efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers , ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Oversee the procurement lifecycle, from Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Implement robust vendor evaluation and management systems to ensure reliability and quality of supplies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, materials, and supply chain, to forecast material requirements and avoid delays.
• Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and strategic sourcing.
• Monitor and track inventory levels , coordinating with the Material Control Manager to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce wastage.
• Prepare and present detailed procurement reports, including cost analyses, vendor performance, and material availability updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
• Drive process improvements within the procurement function to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (essential).

Experience:

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in the facade industry /Similar industry
• Proven expertise in vendor management, negotiation, and procurement workflows for facade systems and related materials.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Procurement Expertise: Strong knowledge of procurement workflows, vendor management, and sourcing strategies.
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with facade materials, such as aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, and sealants.
• Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and contract management skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Ability to collaborate with production, supply chain, and materials teams effectively.
• Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing material requirements, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Project Management: Capable of managing multiple procurement tasks in alignment with project schedules.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring procurement teams.
• Safety & Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
