About the Job

  • Create long-term plans for buying different types of medical gear. Analysis of market trends, focusing on category consolidation, market horizon scanning, and the adoption of emerging health technologies.
  • Act as a key bridge between clinical champions, biomedical engineers, and administrative heads to align technical requirements with operational goals and drive product rationalisation.
  • Oversee the full life-cycle of complex RFPs, from meticulous total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and high-stakes contract negotiations to ensuring strict adherence to governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Manage strategic relationships with global and local Med-Tech suppliers to optimise performance, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure long-term supply chain resilience.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team while championing continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance service delivery.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree with min. 5 years of experience in strategic procurement and people management.
  • Deep technical knowledge and experiences in medical equipment industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP is advantageous
