Procurement Senior Specialist
Job Purpose
Implement Procurement strategies in accordance with the automation approach led by the MRP usage and in close cooperation with E&C Category Manager. Manage the operational and transactional procurement to find and automated based on a cost-effective deals and suppliers and to discover the best ways to reduce the maintenance cost. .
Key Responsibilities
1-Health & Safety:
Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.
2-Functional:
Manage Procurement activities of the category in accordance with the sourcing strategy, as well as applicable policies, procedures and specifications to deliver benefits to the company and reduce total cost. Manage the day-to-day P2P operation in a state of the art mode, to ensure compliance and the highest level of controls.On time performance of the P2P tasks, in line with the internal control requirements.Identify the initiatives, projects and saving opportunities and that support the procurement decision making process, to ensure creation of stakeholder’s value.Challenge requesters to have optimum and consolidated scope of work.Introduce new potential suppliers/contractors in market with efficient alternativesCreate and support the bidding process locally as defined by category strategyAlign internal decision makers through focused communication. Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Engineering Technical Skills:
ERP systems, Excel, reporting tools developer. Experience:
2 years in a technically related job preferably to be as a procurement.
