Senior Product Designer - UI/UX

Role:

Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of the Upstox website. You will design responsive layouts, visual elements, and usability features, directly impacting how millions of users engage with our products.You’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Marketing, Content, and Development teams to translate requirements into high-fidelity prototypes, scalable design systems, and frontend-ready designs.
What You’ll OwnAlign Design with Goals: Make informed design decisions that balance user needs with business, marketing, and content objectives.Iterate & Refine: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into sketches, wireframes, and prototypes; incorporate feedback and analytics for continuous improvement.UI Contribution: Design and execute UI elements across the website, ensuring a consistent, user-centric experience across platforms.Bridge the Gap: Translate UX concepts and wireframes into frontend-ready, pixel-perfect designs.Developer Partnership: Provide detailed design specifications and maintain design consistency during implementation.Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner effectively with UX Designers, UI Designers, and Developers to craft compelling, on-brand experiences.Design System Champion: Contribute to and scale a flexible design system that supports long-term product growth.
Who You AreBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HCI, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing impactful design work.Deep understanding of branding, visual design, UX, and digital product design.Excellent UI and visual design skills with a strong user-centric mindset.Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.Experienced in Agile methodology and data-informed product development.Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to explain design decisions to stakeholders and engineers.Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.Passionate about branding, storytelling, and crafting engaging, user-focused content.
Bonus PointsExperience designing for financial apps or complex data visualizations.Personal interest in the stock market, trading, or financial literacy.
