Senior Product Development Engineer

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Product Development Engineer position include:

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required.

8+ years of progressive experience in product development or mechanical engineering within manufacturing, spa, appliance, or consumer product industries.

Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, simulations, FEA, and BOM creation.

Lead full lifecycle development of new spa products and enhancements—from concept to production.

Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, CE, and other safety/regulatory standards; coordinate internal and third-party testing.

Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams.

Provide sustaining engineering support, including DFM/DFA improvements and warranty issue resolution.

Conduct risk assessments (FMEA, DFMEA) and continuous product optimization based on field data.

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including company-covered medical insurance (vision and dental paid out of pocket), employer-paid life and disability insurance, PTO (104 hours annually with bi-weekly accrual and 40-hour rollover cap), 401(k) with 100% match on the first 3% and 50% match on the next 2% through Fidelity, tuition reimbursement, and a performance-based bonus program with a minimum target of 7.5% of base salary.
