Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager – Last Mile, you will own and scale the end-to-end last-mile delivery experience across customer, rider, and operations touchpoints. You will work at the intersection of logistics, operations, and technology to build high-impact products that enable faster, more reliable, and cost-efficient deliveries.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-scale, real-time, operations-heavy environments like quick commerce, food delivery, or hyperlocal logistics.
What makes the role meaty?
Last-Mile Delivery (LM) — Own DE + 3 P Delivery Product Charter
- Build and scale the end-to-end last-mile delivery product, enabling Licious to move from dependency on third-party partners to a high-control, owned last-mile model.
- Drive improvements in SLA adherence (promised delivery time vs. actual) and CPD (Cost Per Delivery) across a daily order volume of 35,000–40,000 orders.
- Own and evolve the Last-Mile Delivery App, including future roadmap for app store deployment (modules for hiring, L&D, incentives, gamification, DE engagement, and performance tracking).
- Partner deeply with Last-Mile Ops to build tech that improves delivery efficiency, reduces delays, and enhances customer and delivery-executive experience.
- Build frameworks to compare and improve 3 P vs. own delivery CX and DX.
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own the last-mile delivery product roadmap, aligned to business goals such as SLA adherence, cost per delivery, rider productivity, and customer NPS
- Define and prioritize problems across order allocation, rider routing, batching, slotting, ETA accuracy, cancellations, and exceptions
- Drive product vision for both customer-facing and ops/rider-facing experiences
Execution & Delivery
- Translate complex operational problems into clear product requirements, PRDs, and success metrics
- Partner closely with engineering, data science, design, operations, and supply chain teams to ship high-quality solutions
- Lead experimentation (A/B tests, pilots) to improve delivery speed, reliability, and unit economics
Data & Metrics
- Use data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities across the delivery funnel
- Define and track key metrics:
- On-time delivery (OTD)
- Cost per drop
- Rider utilization & idle time
- Delivery success rate & customer complaints
- Leverage predictive and real-time signals for decision-making
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the single-threaded owner for last-mile initiatives
- Work closely with city ops, hub managers, and central ops teams to deeply understand on-ground challenges
- Communicate progress, trade-offs, and outcomes to senior leadership
What You’ll Build
- Intelligent order-to-rider allocation systems
- Dynamic routing and batching logic
- Real-time ops dashboards and alerting systems
- Rider app improvements for productivity and experience
- Customer delivery experience improvements (ETA accuracy, communication, issue resolution)
We hope that you have..
- 4–8+ years of Product Management experience
- 3+ years working on logistics, last-mile, food delivery, or quick commerce products
- Strong understanding of hyperlocal delivery operations
- Proven ability to ship products in high-scale, time-sensitive environments
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large datasets and metrics
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food delivery, e-commerce, ride-hailing, or quick commerce companies
- Exposure to routing algorithms, dispatch systems, or real-time optimization problems
- Experience building ops-heavy internal tools
- MBA or equivalent experience (nice to have, not mandatory)
What Success Looks Like
- Improved delivery SLAs and ETA accuracy
- Lower cost per delivery without compromising customer experience
- Higher rider productivity and satisfaction
- Scalable last-mile systems that support rapid business growth
