The Role


IES India Pvt. Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Consultant / Project Consultant (ApacheHVAC) to join our expanding international consulting team. Based in Pune (relocation required), this hybrid role involves two days per week in the office. You will work closely with leading IESVE modellers and contribute to high profile, complex projects across global markets. The role involves delivering evidence based building performance simulations, supporting compliance and rating systems, and advising clients on optimal design strategies. You will also collaborate with global colleagues and support customers through project mentoring when required. Responsibilities
  • Provide consulting solutions for HVAC modelling and energy simulation

  • Support complex projects including LEED, NABERS, BREEAM and similar rating systems

  • Model operational energy and net zero carbon projects

  • Support projects for UK building regulations

  • Coordinate with the global team on project delivery

  • Provide analysis and prepare or review project reports

  • Offer project mentoring to software customers when required

    • Key areas: Project management and coordination, LEED documentation, energy modelling, results analysis, customised reporting.

    The Candidate


    We are looking for a motivated building simulation professional with 2–6 years’ experience, strong technical capability, and an engineering or architectural background. Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

  • Experience with IES VE and ApacheHVAC (EnergyPlus/VisualDOE also considered)

  • Experience with LEED modelling and USGBC documentation

  • Experience modelling to ASHRAE 90.1 PRM

  • Experience managing multiple projects

  • Strong communication skills, including English proficiency

  • Experience with IES Virtual Environment software

  • HVAC design or system selection experience

  • Heating and cooling load calculations

  • Knowledge of rating systems such as WELL, BREEAM, Estidama, NABERS, GreenStar, GSAS

  • Python scripting

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
