ob Purpose
The Mechanical Engineer will perform standard mechanical engineering assignments, representing a significant portion of larger projects. The successful candidate will select engineering techniques to address technical challenges, provide recommendations to customers, and enable effective utilization of company products or solutions so customers can maximize performance and achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Execute standard mechanical engineering tasks within large or complex projects, ensuring solutions meet project requirements.Analyze technical problems and select appropriate engineering techniques to solve them effectively.Provide recommendations and technical guidance to customers on optimal use of company products or solutions.Support customers in maximizing the performance and outcomes of implemented solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and project management, to ensure project objectives are met.Prepare engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and customer stakeholders.Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all engineering activities.Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering and industry best practices.Assist in commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support as required.Qualifications & Experience
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 6 yearsβ relevant experience in mechanical engineering assignments, preferably within project environments.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience selecting and applying engineering techniques.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.Proficient in engineering analysis software/tools and project documentation.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
