Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of a brownfields growth project involving plant upgrade modifications and the procurement and installation of a new SAG Ball Mill, feeder bin and screening circuit .

This is a hands‑on role requiring proven experience delivering similar brownfields processing plant projects , within the mineral processing sector. You will play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary activities to ensure project outcomes are achieved safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multidiscipline engineering, procurement and construction activities across project scopes and packages

Act as a key interface with the asset owner and operational stakeholders

Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, regulatory and approval requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Contribute to, and where required develop, Project Execution Plans, strategies and schedules

Facilitate project meetings, manage key interfaces and step into the Project Manager role when required

Manage scope, cost, schedule and risk , identifying trends and implementing corrective actions

Oversee design management , ensuring compliance with Basis of Design, regulatory requirements and asset owner standards

Provide clear, accurate and timely reporting to project management and stakeholders

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on brownfields projects within mineral processing projects.

Demonstrated delivery experience involving SAG mills, crushing circuits, screens, feeder bins or similar processing equipment

Strong understanding of multidiscipline project execution within operating plant environments

Solid capability in cost control, scheduling, risk management and contractor coordination

Experience working closely with operations, asset owners and external contractors

Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills

Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical preferred, but not essential)
