Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Job Description Senior Construction Project Manager - Data Center Projects A nationally recognized general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role provides overall project leadership, overseeing multiple workstreams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in mission-critical construction and has successfully led large, technically complex data center projects with significant MEP scope, aggressive schedules, and high coordination demands. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for large-scale data center construction projects Manage project teams including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and change management at a senior level Establish and manage master project schedules and milestone tracking Lead coordination of complex MEP systems and critical infrastructure Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, design teams, and executive stakeholders Oversee procurement strategies for long-lead and critical equipment Support and influence preconstruction strategy, constructability reviews, and logistics planning Guide project closeout, commissioning coordination, and final turnover Required Experience & Qualifications 8 years of experience managing data center or mission-critical construction projects Demonstrated experience leading large project teams and complex scopes of work Strong understanding of MEP systems, power distribution, and mission-critical infrastructure Proven ability to manage fast-track schedules and high-risk project environments Experience with project delivery on large, high-value projects Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Education Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Compensation & Benefits Aggressive compensation package Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans Long-term career growth with a nationally recognized contractor Experienced data center leaders who want to run work-not just manage tasks-should consider this opportunity.
