Your impact

As a Senior Environmental Project Manager based in Texas and assigned to our Jacobs Houston office, you’ll play a crucial role in cleaning up our communities and improving our environment. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and Manage Projects: Plan, staff, schedule, and budget projects while ensuring quality, consistency, and safety.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate: Work with subcontractors, internal support staff, and subject matter experts.
  • Technical Excellence: Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design and implement pilot studies and remedial systems.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients and regulators, present information, and facilitate discussions on site management strategies.
  • Mentorship and Growth: Provide motivation and direction to project teams, and benefit from mentorship opportunities to help you grow your career at Jacobs.

    What You’ll Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in environmental projects, including site investigation and/or remediation, subcontractor oversight, and managing project teams.
  • Certifications: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with USEPA regulations, including CERCLA and RCRA.
  • DoD Experience: Experience managing DoD projects or working with the DoD Environmental Restoration Program.
  • Advanced Degrees and Certifications: Master’s degree in a related field and/or certifications such as PE, PG, or PMP.
  • US Citizenship: Required for this position.

    Posted Salary Range: Minimum 144,600.00 Posted Salary Range: Upper 210,000.00

    The base salary range for this position is $144,600.00 to $210,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
