What You’ll Be Doing
Lead full-cycle accounting and monthly/annual financial reporting for a growing property portfolio
Oversee and review work completed by junior and intermediate property accountants
Revamp, structure, and spearhead the Property Accounting function
Prepare operating budgets, forecasts, and detailed variance analyses
Manage complex journal entries, reconciliations, recoveries, and lease accounting
Lead CMHC, lender reporting, and audit preparation processes
Drive system implementations and enhancements, with a strong focus on Yardi
Develop standardized processes and improve accounting efficiencies across the department
Partner closely with property managers, finance, and leadership teams to support operational and strategic goals
What You Must Have
7+ years of progressive accounting experience (property management or real estate experience preferred)
