About this opportunity

This role is responsible for full‑cycle production accounting for Alberta and Saskatchewan heavy‑oil assets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of production, revenue, and royalties in compliance with regulatory and internal controls. The position supports monthly accounting, reconciliations, allocations, audits, and regulatory updates, while providing technical guidance to the team and operations. The ideal candidate has strong production accounting expertise, advanced Excel and systems skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

What you’ll do

• Manage full‑cycle production accounting, including production, revenue, and royalty reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all deadlines.
• Prepare, submit, and reconcile regulatory and royalty reporting, including Alberta and Saskatchewan government filings, oil crown royalties, AR, GOR, and freehold royalties.
