Job Summary: The Senior Purchasing Specialist oversees critical purchasing operations, ensures supplier compliance, and optimizes purchasing processes to align with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities: · Perform all duties of a Purchasing Specialist with additional responsibility for complex or high-value purchases. · Analyze supplier performance data to ensure quality and efficiency in material procurement. · Supervise tracking of PO milestones to mitigate potential delays. · Provide Supplier delivery plan and ensuring its adherence to the PO milestones and delivery timeline. · Manage high-risk purchasing activities, including FAT coordination and inspections. · Review supplier payment memos based on contractual milestones and delivery verification. · Work closely with Project Managers to streamline material shipping release approvals. · Support logistics coordination and resolve purchasing-related issues. · Provide training and guidance to junior purchasing staff.
