Senior QA Engineer

MCS Group are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a global leader in the FinTech industry as a part of their Belfast expansion. You will be a quality advocate and will drive automation-first practices , with a strong focus on API testing . Working closely with developers and product owners, you will ensure high-quality, reliable software is delivered each sprint. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy, where you will shape testing strategy, mentor others, and contribute to building robust automation frameworks. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated functional and non-functional tests. Lead API, UI, and performance testing within CI/CD pipelines. Drive a shift-left approach to quality across the Agile team. Collaborate with global teams on test strategy, planning, and execution. Coach and mentor team members in automation and best practices.
